FAB AUTUMN DAYS AT WESTGATE OXFORD

Westgate Oxford is the ultimate destination for family-friendly days out, bringing together food, shopping and entertainment, all in one place

With an autumn chill in the air and the changing colour of the leaves, we’re here to help you make the most of the school holidays with a fab day out in the city. Not sure where to start? Leave it to us, darling…

LET THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS BEGIN

At Westgate Oxford, there’s no need to spend October half term wondering what to do next!

Keep an eye out for craft clubs on weekdays over half term, from 26th to 30th October, 11am-5pm.

Keep idle hands busy at ART & PLAY, packed with colourful structures, sensory spaces and interactive fun designed to spark creativity and imagination.

And if you’re keen to continue the adventure, Oxford Westgate Library is right on the doorstep, with a range of family-friendly events and activities taking place throughout the school holidays (please check Oxford County Council’s website for more information).

Planning to make a day of it? There’s plenty more to explore across the centre, from a family film at Curzon or an immersive challenge at Escape Hunt Oxford, or a round of golf at Ted's Crazy Golf.

Join our FREE Halloween live pumpkin carving
On Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October, from 10am-5pm, come and see the amazing pumpkins and get involved with some carving. All ages welcome!

Find this event happening at Middle Square, on the Upper Ground level near Uniqlo. Pumpkins will also be given away for those keen to decorate at home, ready for Halloween!

Working with the masters, Sand in your Eye, we're running live pumpkin carving sessions. See the artists at work! There are even pumpkins carved into the faces of characters from Oxford literary history – can you guess who they are?
